What’s better than a bit of wedding dress gazing on a Saturday morning?
.
Nope, it’s better than a lie in.
.
I was doubly lucky – first, to be able to wear a stunning Alan Hannah gown on my own wedding day and secondly, to be able to meet the lovely man and wife team themselves at the British Bridal Exhibition in Harrogate (an industry trade show where I head twice a year to swot up on the new trends and do some talent spotting), where they showed me their new gowns from their new prêt a porter label MiaMia.

The MiaMia team say: “Our aim is to offer a slice of couture in an accessible, ready to wear option, using luxurious fabrics and detailing. The gowns are light and pretty with beautiful touches of beading which highlight the fluid silhouettes and lovely movement of the gowns. We are using silk duchesse, silk slipper satin and silk organza, but we also offer other fabrics as alternatives to those used on the sample gowns."
.
Your local stockist can advise you on choice of fabrics as well as offering a professional service for your fittings and alterations.
