This afternoon we are getting lovely in Liverpool as we share this pretty styled shoot sent to me by Emma of Glorybox Photography & Creative Imaging and her team of talented local industry suppliers. Isn’t it dreamy?
Now I’ve just got to figure out how I can incorporate a wall of hearts into my interior decorating…
Be inspired!

Emma says: This wedding inspiration shoot was put together by The Wedding Collective, a group of independent business women in Liverpool.
I worked with owner of Craft Creative, Becky Christian, and bespoke fashion designer, Kirsty Doyle to bring together some of Liverpool’s most talented and respected wedding industry entrepreneurs. The idea was to not only contribute to an editorial shoot but to create new relationships with go-getters in the city and beyond. We looked at it as a chance to encourage diversity and collaboration in our work and most importantly use each other’s talents and contacts to generate business in the future. We are now one of the city’s go-to services for wedding curation. We have all bases covered when it comes to planning your big day.

The shoot was fantastic. The sky was a magnificent clear blue and the sun was really warm even though the air itself carried a chill. Our models Carly and Jakob had never met each other before so being put on the spot really helped them break the ice. We managed to have loads of fun throughout the day and even into the night when we made use of The Isla Gladstone’s band stand with our 3ft light up letters and a few long exposures.

Becky from Craft Creative, a craft based events, workshop and design company was the driving force behind the shoot and she wowed everybody with her hand made props and wedding decorations. Her altar which was made from logs was adorned with a pretty love heart tassel curtain and her light up love letters really made the night time shine.

Kirsty Doyle designed and produced a range of bridal one offs especially for the shoot. Kirsty always works in 3D, and each garment is toiled and worked into on the mannequin. This allows each dress to be completely unique. The inspiration is always classic tailoring with contemporary finish and fabrics. Kirsty didn’t want the gowns to be traditional, but also wanted to create a collection for any style of wedding, from the country to town halls!
Enola Rose was our milliner. A Liverpool favourite, she created one off works of head-wearable art to compliment Kirsty’s dress designs.
Gieves & Hawkes, The Met Quarter, Liverpool were kind enough to dress our groom and we think you’ll agree, he looked dashing.

Hannah from Hannah Loves Cake offered up a gorgeous Love Heart inspired tiered wedding cake which was the most gorgeous looking thing we had ever seen and our lovely confectioners at The Albion Bakehouse brought along all things sugar coated. They really did taste as good as they looked!

One of Liverpool’s most knowledgeable and talented florists Heather from Flower Fashion set down some stunning table designs, bouquets and button holes which really brought the day to life.

Lili Bizarre, Little Hardman Street, Liverpool supplied us with a beautiful pink love heart balloon which really complimented our chosen colour palette of pinks, reds and ivory with a splash of gold.

The award winning hair and make up beauty queens from So Coco Rouge worked their magic with a modest palette of nudes proving that less really is more.

The images were shot and edited by the team at Glorybox Photography & Creative Imaging. Glorybox are a creative photography company based in Liverpool and operating country wide.

With big thanks to The Isla Gladstone, Stanley Park, Liverpool for giving us access to the space for the day. An amazing venue with boundless potential, the most stunning natural light and a gorgeous summery vibe, even in the middle of winter.
