We’re a lot prettier too!
It seems that the rest of the world has woken up to what we (in our little corner of the internets) already knew. Blogs are big news in 2014! Well, finally.
I’ve been pounding away at various laptops – I get through them fast – for almost four years now (add to this more than 45 Brides Up North branded wedding exhibitions and parties) and suddenly… turns out that it’s award season!
We did pick up a much coveted Wedding Blog Award 2013 (Best Big Day Inspiration, no less) from Wedding Magazine last October and I was proud to judge in the wedding category in the The National UK Blog Awards 2014 this spring… but all of a sudden we’ve a need for our own nominations coming out of our ears!
I’ve already asked for your votes in two categories for The Wedding Industry Experts 2014 Awards (click here to cast them! I’ll love you forever) and I’ll be back in touch very soon to ask for support as we defend our title at The Wedding Blog Awards 2014 (cue much grovelling shortly!), but for now, I’d love you to nominate Brides Up North for a Cosmopolitan Blog Award 2014 in the Wedding Blog Category.
I almost missed the deadline for this one – that’s what two features a day, a bursting inbox, a jam packed events season and an extremely cute one year old daughter will do for you – but would love you forever if you’d show your support and #jointhenorthernrevolution by nominating our little team in our category.
I’ve been hinting that we’re going glam (and getting even more useful for planning your big day) here at Brides Up North very shortly (follow #getsetsparkle) on Twitter and watch our Facebook feed for more updates) and it’d be a lovely boost to know that all this work we’ve been putting in behind the scenes has been worth it.
