Just For Fun

santa baby…

Julia Smith

7 Lunessa

Yet again this year us girls at Brides Up North HQ have been awfully good and are hoping to be rewarded with a loot of loveliness from Santa on Christmas Day. So, having taken care of our loved ones’ gifts, we thought we’d use this afternoon’s post to share our Christmas wish lists, which should hopefully reach the North Pole just in time!

Filled with girly and glittery goodness, you might want to send this link to your other half pronto if they’re yet to wrap up all of your gifts.

rachel’s list

RACHEL XMAS 1

White Company Pompom Boot Slippers, £40 – I came to realise just this week that the footwear that graces my tootsies most often is my slippers (no matter the time of year) and so a new, luxurious pair is a must for me each year.

Topshop Cashmere Sweater, £120 – continuing with the luxury, a cashmere jumper is a classic Christmas present that never goes unappreciated. This Topshop design shows that cashmere can be both cool and chic, which earns it a place on my list.

River Island Black Leather Pompom Gloves, £25 – I may be coming a little obsessed with pompoms, first the slippers and now these – but who doesn’t love to combine fashion with a little fun?

Abbott Lyon black Gator Kensington Watch, £129 – last year I had an Olivia Burton watch waiting under the tree and this year I hope to add to my arm candy collection with this sleek Abbott Lyon design. Black and gold, black and gold!

Warehouse Metallic Leather Skirt, £65 – every girl needs a party outfit for the festive season, am I right? Perfect for teaming with soft knits for day time gatherings and a sheer shirt or lace top for evening affairs, this little number ticks all the boxes.

Nike Air Pegasus 83 Trainers, £74.99 – much as I love a stunning pair of heels, sometimes you just need a good pair of trainers to get the job done. These kicks from Nike are both practical and girly with a beautiful bronze tick.

Ted Baker Hidie Snake Print Bag, £199 – Having been bought Ted’s Hidie purse for my birthday earlier this month, it seems only right to have a match bag to put it in.

Lancome La Vie Est Belle Perfume, £39 – my favourite scent at the moment and it’s running dangerously low! I’m seriously hoping that the elves have connections to Lancome to top up my supplies.

Ryan Storer Swarovski Crystal Cuff & Stud Earring, £265 – because what is Christmas without some sparkle? Still no sign of a ring for me just yet so I’ll settle for this cool crystal cuff and matching stud earring (for now!)

Oh and I’m still waiting on my Sausage Dog Puppy from last year – Santa I promise you this item won’t be coming off the list until you deliver the cute goods right to my door, well down the chimney!

JULIA XMAS

Topshop Lace Midi Dress, £120 – I’ve fallen in love with this floral number from Topshop which is so wearable in both winter (just add a distressed leather jacket) and once the warmer weather arrives. Sexy senorita!

Cox & Cox Quilt, £250 – I’m all for feathering my nest and I’ve been eyeing this sumptuous quilt for a few seasons. Now that it comes in a beautiful dove grey its shot to the top of my interiors wish list.

Kate Spade Stapler at Quill London, £24 – because when you spend as much time at a desk as I do, it needs a sprinkle of pretty. These rose gold accessories will make all the long, late hours worth it.

Cocolux Candle $45 AUD – after a trip Down Under in 2014 during which I fell head over heels for the Sunshine Coast, any export that reminds me of my time there is a welcome treat. These super luxurious candles smell amazing and look even better.

Mulberry Alexa Satchel– it’s time I had an upgrade and Alexa’s buttery leather ticks all my boxes for the perfect tote.

Mathieu Challieres Lamp at Smallable, £306.99 – meant for (very lucky) children, I’m eyeing up this cool birdy lamp for my own bedside. Perfectly eccentric.

Lunessa Ring – this is bling, with a touch of magic. A forever piece. Hope the hubby is reading.

Sweaty Betty Ski Trail Top, £60– these stylish yet functional ski threads are the perfect winter warmers, both on and off the slopes.

Kurt Geiger Scarlett Boots, £120 – I cover a lot of ground during our Luxury Wedding Exhibition seasons, and these boots look sturdy and stylish.

Ted Baker Loopey Jumper, £139 – a dash of sequins and this knit works as well dressed up or with jeans, Ted Baker is my go-to for the snuggly stuff this year.
