TIMBER & TIPI. A STYLED BRIDAL SHOOT IN THE NORTH WEST

Julia Smith

Take us back… to stunningly beautiful and stylish wedding set-ups like this one! Set in the super cool surroundings of a tipi, this on-trend look was created by a team of North West wedding specialists.

Planned by Kate of Florence & Vera Events on location at Peartree Farm, Cheshire, the team chose a palette of natural tones, featuring green, blue and grey hues to add subtle pop of colour, with striking effect.

We are officially in love…

INSPIRATION & LOCATION

Kate says: Natural and fashionable is a perfect look for any wedding. We were inspired by the wildness of the outdoors and wanted to showcase the tipi from Timber & Canvas in an elegant boho style.

Whether you are in an industrial city or in the heart of the British countryside, this look can be achieved by all. The theme is evergreen and will suit every season too – you just need to find space for a tipi!

STYLING

This shoot brought together some of the best in the industry. My business, Florence & Vera Events provided an abundance of props and tableware. Etched glass candlesticks provided the perfect contrast to the brown glass vessels used by Sian and her team at The Flower Lounge and alongside the table décor, a beautiful array of crockery and glassware, supplied by Whitehouse Event Crockery added the finishing touches.

Finally for impact, we added a statement piece above the stunning table setting, a rustic ladder and lanterns, encased in gorgeous blooms by The Flower Lounge team.

FLORALS

Sian and her team at The Flower Lounge used lots of foliage like eucalyptus and ferns to give a softened look and lots of grasses to introduce elements of texture. Peonies, delphinium, dill and amaranthus were used in the taller installations alongside the perfect partners of bunny tails, sanguisorbia and dried flowers in the oh so cool vases.

CAKE

The cake was a spectacular creation by Sarah at Pink Cocoa, incorporating the stunning green watercolour hues, accompanied beautifully by handmade biscuits and mini bitesize cakes.

STATIONERY

The stationery was created by Lucky Nibs – handwritten calligraphy agate on each place setting and pressed floral frames to welcome everybody to the day. Just breath taking!

ATTIRE

And it wasn’t just the setting looking stylish! Our model wore a spectacular two-piece, the Sedana top and Piora skirt by the incredible Charlie Brear, supplied by The White Closet.
