If you go down to the woods today… beware of the pumpkin bride! And if she doesn’t get your heart racing, the stunning styling in this last minute autumn photoshoot definitely will.
Put together by our UNVEILED Network Member Yasmin of Ivy Alice Stationery – a connoisseur of bespoke papers and luxurious finishes – this relaxed and fun woodland vibe still manages to be elegant whilst staying casual.
Photographed by Hannah Shearman, a wedding, elopement and lifestyle photographer and film maker based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, who specialises in natural storytelling – the magic of the season really comes alive!
A tiny team, but they sure know how to make an impact!

CONCEPT
Yasmin says: I decided to put together the shoot at the very last minute, to showcase the autumnal styling which can be incorporated into wedding décor. It shows a laid back vibe filled with seasonal details, fluffy rugs, black lanterns, fallen leaves and pumpkins.
LOCATION
I was looking for an outdoor area filled with woodland, fallen leaves and water. The location is local to me and perfect for a Halloween styled shoot.
STYLING
We used an array of black lanterns, candle sticks, fluffy rugs, draped materials, black acrylic signage, fallen leaves, a small picnic platter of crackers, cheese and blackberries, black cushions and a variety of different sized pumpkins.
I created a set of stationery with a bright white hue cardstock with silver foil with the ‘til death’ typography to match the Halloween styling, a honeymoon fund card & RSVP, with a luxury printed vellum wrap, black thread and wax to seal, complimented with a burgundy envelope and watercolour liner.
The florals we used were put together by Hannah. We also set up a ‘pick your poison’ black vinyl sign which would be perfect for a drinks/bar set up.
ATTIRE
We used a floaty white dress from ASOS to go with the outdoor vibe, teamed with suede grey Dr Martens and a black denim jacket with tassels to give a casual look.
BEAUTY
I was the acting model for the day! I did my own makeup with simple eyeshadow and fluffy lashes. I styled my hair in soft curls for an effortless look to match the dressed down vibe.
RESULTS
The shoot went amazingly well on the day, apart from scaring a few passers-by with the pumpkin head! The highlight was putting together something which was inspired by the TikTok trend of the pumpkin head photoshoot challenge and creating something beautiful. It was also so great to get out in the fresh air and be creative.
