It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! Your Count Your Blessings emails fill my inbox with joy and leave me feeling all fuzzy round the edges (so much so that I am considering extending this feature into the New Year!). Here is Laura S from Perfect Choice Planning with a particularly festive instalment. Enjoy.
.
Laura says: I have been thinking about submitting my 10 things that make me happy at the moment, but have just delayed it and delayed it. Then my friend, Joanne Spencer Photography blogged this gorgeous little piece to show how she was feeling and it reminded me of the feature you had going so I decided to send you mine. A lot if it is what I am looking forward to but that’s what is making me happy right now.
.
Here goes:
.
1 One whole year of living with my best friend/amazing boyfriend. He has been there for me through the toughest times of my life, encouraging me all the way – and he is still here after nearly 4 years! True commitment!
.
2 I heart Christmas. It’s only a month away. It’s my favourite time of the year and a perfect excuse to spend time with those who matter the most. “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas…”
.
3 Crispy Winter Days. I love the icy blue skies of Winter and the fresh air that comes with it.
.
4 My friends and family – the most important part of my life.
.
5 Impending annual trip to the Manchester Christmas Markets. This year we are going with 10 friends so won’t need much mulled wine to make us merry!
.
6 Secluded times in the Lake District. My man and I are great lovers of the outdoors, especially the Lake District. We love going when there’s deep snow (like last year) when there aren’t so many people around and will be making our way that way in the near future.
.
7 Impending bridal inspiration shoots. After the successful Fairy Inspired Bridal shoot featured on Brides Up North, it has whet my appetite for more and I now have two more lined up with different chic themes – watch this space!
.
8 The launch of Perfect Choice Planning. Earlier this year I launched my first business venture as an Event & Wedding Planner which took my 8 months to do! I am pleased with the results and looking forward with anticipation to the future.
.
9 General contentment. It has been a long time since I felt this happy and content with life with so many things that have happened over the past couple of years. I finally think that I am becoming at peace with life!
,
10 That cosy feeling. One thing I love most about Winter is being able to feel warm and cosy. I’ll set the scene: raging fireplace, hot chocolate or mulled wine (depending on mood!), mince pies, duvet, cuddles, “It’s a Wonderful Life” on DVD and the cat stretching diplomatically across both of us. Absolute bliss!
