Jenny McAvoy says: Mean, moody and magnificent, Jane Russell wowed Hollywood and the World with her debut in the 1943 film The Outlaw. She was to become one of the biggest stars of the 1940s and 1950s.  She brought a new meaning to the word cleavage. She was a talented actress, but it was her sex bomb image that made her a star.

We wanted to encapsulate Jane’s sex appeal with this fantastic scene of Lucy Holmes in the entrance door of Belle Epoque.  Lucy wore a structured Stewart Parvin dress from Aphrodite & wrap by Wrapor to show off her assets, complete with 40s style red lips and winged eyes courtesy of the talented hair and make-up team Beth Davies, Maritza Haydon and Romy Richardson. Her flower entwined feather boa was  designed by Rosa and Co.
