Scoping out our brand new venue en famille!
.
So, the last sneak peek behind the scenes here at Brides Up North HQ was back in January, when I was busy preparing for the Spring season of branded bridal events ahead, moving into a new home and new offices and cooking a little Brides Up North baby (yes, a BUN in the oven)!
.
The first of our nine Brides Up North Luxury Wedding Exhibitions this Spring welcomed the season in style at the gorgeous Allerton Castle, and Baby Brides Up North (Little Miss Annabella Robyn) arrived a month later, 12 days overdue. Luckily I now have help on the admin and events side so have been able to enjoy a lovely first few months with my baby girl, whilst honouring my writing and freelance commitments. It’s a good job, because things don’t look set to slow down any time soon! With more (really very) excellent Featured Suppliers in our Directory than ever before and a huge Twitter and Facebook following, there has never been a better time to visit this here wedding blog and enlist our help in planning and inspiring your wedding in the North of the UK.
.
This has been our best season of Brides Up North branded events yet at a really diverse and beautiful portfolio of venues. Since the brand is going from strength to strength I can afford to be picky and work with only the most stunning, unique or quirky venues. As well as our usual huge shows in the North East and our work with the gorgeous Dine Venues in Yorkshire, new additions to the schedule this Spring included The Bowdon Rooms in Cheshire (a vintage dance hall), beautiful Thorp Perrow and The National Railway Museum in York, which blew guests and exhibitors alike away with it’s beautiful and unexpected setting.
.
There’s one last show to go (the cherry on top!) this Sunday 9th June 2013 at Sarah Beeny’s Rise Hall from 12pm till 4pm, free entry. Pre-registration is now open, and we would love to see you there.
.
We’ll be back on 1st September with another full season of events in your areas, plus some brand new dates and will be spending the summer completing and launching a few very pretty projects. Watch out for news on both soon.
.
Until then, enjoy your double daily dose of wedding inspiration on these swirly silver pages and this little sneak peek behind the scenes at my crazy, happy life. The Northern Revolution rumbles on…
