Just under a week to go: Christmas decorations up, lunch breaks spent frantically dashing round the shops, plans made, changed and remade. Stockings hung on the chimney with care. Lots of sparkle, too much mulled wine. Have you done your “big shop” yet?
Here at Brides Up North, we are winding down for the holidays. It’s been a crazy, crazy year here… just take a look at this blog post… so, to give us a much deserved breather before the madness of 2014 kicks off (we have a lot planned!) and to celebrate the season with my brand new little family, we are taking a break for a couple of weeks.
We interrupt our usual twice weekday blog schedule only twice a year, for a summer siesta and during the festive holiday, so I hope that you’ll bear with us, snuggle up with your own nearest and dearest and enjoy our reduced schedule between mince pies and egg noggs. We’ll be back with a big bang on January 2nd, with some fantastic new features, exciting plans for 2014 and as always, lots and lots of fabulous wedding inspiration.
We wouldn’t just up and leave you cold turkey though (pun intended). We’ll be posting a recap of our very favourite weddings from 2013, every day from now until the New Year.
